The formula
Monthly ad revenue = (views ÷ 1,000) × RPM.
YouTube's long-form split is 55% to the creator and 45% to YouTube. RPM is already the creator's side. A $7 CPM billed to an advertiser is not a $7 RPM.

What changes the number
Finance and business viewers in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia usually pay more per 1,000 views than entertainment or kids' content. Shorts pay much less per 1,000 views than long-form.
